Every being's body is their own. Rape is violence against a person's body, will, and trust, and the harm can last a lifetime. Nothing excuses it: not power, not marriage, not war, not custom. The shame belongs to the one who did the harm, never to the one who was harmed. Our goal is a World where consent is taught, honored, and protected, where those who are harmed are believed, and where no one is ever forced.
